Do TV wireless senders / receivers work through walls? - wireless tv extension

I want to spend my sky multiroom access to another room on same floor. Instead of an extension cable axial CO or a transmitter or receiver, that I must keep the line of sight? It is interesting that I have phone jacks in both bedrooms. Does this help? Thanks
