I have multiple lesions in the brain and a lesion near my spianl channel. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis or lupus. So I am very familiar with involuntary movements, numbness, neuropathic pain / burning, patches, cold hypersensitivity of the skin, etc.
I tried to gabapentin, pregabalin, but take what a better version () in my experience. I also take Citalopram is an SSRI MED and nifedipine. To be honest with the pain, even the best of me. I am a trained consultant and reg. I tend to use techniques of counseling me, to me at idle. Chronic pain is not easy.

I think you should change doctors. Unfortunately, you have many problems and needs with a doctor. We can not really help here, now ... I'm sorry.
